I think you can guess what it's about (but it's not Star Trek fanfic). I'm at 7,680 words but i haven't done today's session yet. I'm aiming for 10k by the end of the day. At the age of 33 I have come to realise that most of life is the drudgery of the ordinary - earning a living, eating and sleeping, cleaning house etc. - so I like to think of those things like a Christmas tree that is decorated with the time spent on the special things: friends and family, reading a book, going for a run or watching a movie. Cried at all of those.... Except The Killing Fields, which I have never seen. My worst experience in terms of movie crying was when we went to see Pay It Forward. It wasn't long after I lost my brother (who was also called David) and I went to pieces, actually sobbing openly in the theatre as everyone left. I don't remember much about the film, but I remember how awful that experience was and I will never watch the movie again.
