NaBloWriMo Day 13 – Another Day

Oct13
2009
Written by Aaron DeLay

I think the song “16 tons” could very much apply to me. And look, I found it!

I spent most of my weekend decompressing from work (aka why I took Sat and Sun off) and when I got back to the job today I compressed again. Came home, found me some Sims 3 and played that until now.

It’s 3:44am on a Tuesday. Do you know where your Aaron is?

Well, I’m right here, so that’s solved.

I was going to write about religion on Monday, I swear. I was going to write about politics today, I promise.

I think I’m losing my touch. Thirteen days in (ruh roh unlucky!) and National Blog Writing Month is coming up…dead roses.

I could talk about how I’m pretty sure I’ll still be single when my younger brother is married. That would just be depressing, whiny and full of complaints that really have no merit or use throwing out into the blogsphere. So strike that.

I could blog about work and my feelings about it. Then I’d get fired. Strike two.

I considered writing about how I thought I was “someone” on twitter/social media but I’ve learned (humbly and the hard way) that I’m more or less “anyone” in that world. It would come across as arrogant and full of self righteousness that really isn’t my style. Strike three.

So, I guess I’ll have to wait until Wednesday to write about…music.

Oddly enough, I think I have something to write about on that subject. Props go to the rest of the NABLOWRIMO writers who are rocking it out and putting text to webpages. They are all pretty cool people.

I’m going to try this whole “going to bed thing”. I hear it’s all the rage.
