I was sitting here working away, focused on the stack of papers I have to deal with when suddenly I felt my world go a little wonky.
And by wonky I mean it felt like I was having a case of vertigo. I felt like my inner ear had taken leave of my body and I was now going to fall over. I grabbed the edge of my desk to steady myself. It didn’ stop.
I then figured something was wrong when everyone else in the building did the exact same thing. A moment later we all had the same consensus. We had just experienced a small earthquake.
Nothing was damaged and the shaking stopped within a few seconds but it still didn’t take away from the fact that the building shook. That’s something new for a guy who has lived his whole life in Montana, Oregon and Denver; three places where the earth rarely shakes and if it does, you know the world is ending.
So, hopefully that’s the end of the earthquake fun for today. If there’s more movin’ and a shakin’ I’ll be sure to let y’all know.
Until I have something better to place on paper…AYOS!
