Lawhawk at A Blog for All has a link to a honoring slideshow with music. It is a salute of respect to those serving in Iraq and it needs to be seen. I have always supported those in the armed forces and even now when I waffle between saying, “Bring ‘em home!” and “We stay until we finish.” I still get choked up watching.
My cousin Seth Dahl served for a year in Iraq. I’m proud of him for doing what needed to be done. And I’m proud of those that have, are and will. It is almost a challenge to me. Do I have what it takes to serve?
That is a question I have been turning over in my mind since Seth went. I do not honestly know.
